Join the team and help make the Pumpkin Chuck Festival 2024 a smashing success! We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with various aspects of the event. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community, meet new people, and be part of a fun and exciting event.

How to Sign Up:

To streamline the process and ensure all necessary waivers are signed, we use the Cincinnati Parks volunteer portal.

  2. Complete the Waiver: Ensure you sign the necessary waiver for participation.

  3. Choose Your Shifts: Select the shifts and opportunities that fit your schedule.

Volunteer Jobs:

  • Set-Up Crew: Help set up tents, tables, and signs before the event starts.
  • Clean-Up Crew: Help break down up tents, tables, and signs after the event is over.
  • Trebuchet Operators: Assist with the operation and safety of our trebuchets during the event.
  • PLEASE NOTE: all trebuchet operators are required to sign a release of responsibility waiver before they will be permitted behind the safety barriers.
  • Food & Beverage Support: Help manage food and beverage stations, ensuring vendors have what they need.
  • Composting & Recycling Assistants: Educate attendees on proper composting and recycling practices and manage composting stations.
  • General Support: Assist wherever needed, including directing attendees and providing information.
